Ask Annabel ~ Fox Terriers!


(I know I never do Ask Annabel but that's because every Friday I have pizza and a movie night! Anyway, just so I can keep up on the blog schedule, I'm doing an Ask Annabel post today, Thursday.)

Today's dog is the Fox Terrier! Here's some info about it (based on Toy Fox Terrier):

#1. "The Toy Fox Terrier is also known as the American Toy Terrier or Amertoy."
#2. "The nose is black accept in chocolate dogs where it will be self-colored."
#3. "The eyes are dark and round."
#4. "The ears are v-shaped and erect."
#5. "The tail is docked short and carried high."
#6. "The hair is short and thick. The coat is tri-color, predominately white with black and tan or tan markings. Other colors do occur, but may not be accepted by the written standard."
#7. "The Toy Fox Terrier may be physically small, but this is a robust little terrier that retains all the passion of its Fox Terrier ancestors."
#8. "The breed is tough and bright, and can be stubborn without proper leadership from its owners."
#9. "Curious and active, the Toy Fox Terrier keeps its young spirit throughout its life."
#10. "They are intelligent, loving, sensitive and pleasant."
#11. "It is very alert, inquisitive and quick."
#12. "This is a companion dog that has not forgotten its terrier instincts, and will therefore fight mice and small animals."
#13. "The athletic little dog loves to hunt."

    Quincy & Fannie send a Merry Christmas - their owners are both sick in bed with horrible bronchitis - hope you guys are healthy and happy. We'll call to talk when we're coughing less.
